This is an introductory course in basic mechanical processes and introduction to power plant. It covers topics on the proper uses of the different tools and equipment used in power plant engineering course. It provides manipulative skills training in sheet metal, bench work, forging and welding works. It likewise includes lessons on engineering materials and the processing of these materials. Safety precautionary measures are emphasized in all actual works.

Research in general is a very valuable undertaking but also a potentially confusing subject to hurdle. Based on the student’s accounts, research can be burdensome if the general template is not established for the many possible types of product development studies. Because product development can take different directions and different methods, it can be perplexing for students to follow the template that is not as open to new forms of innovations.
