In this competency-based course students will learn the fundamental of drafting in a modern, networked, computer lab using basic Auto-CAD drafting software. The course will cover the introduction of drafting various career opportunities and application related to drafting and fundamental of drawing such as architectural technique and drafting techniques as well as the concepts and application of orthographic projection, isometric representation, and basic dimension. Topics also include line type conventions, lettering, freehand drafting, geometric construction, sections and auxiliary views and students will be introduced the different element of mechanical drawing

This course introduces students to the contemporary world by examining the multifaceted phenomenon of globalization. Using the various disciplines of the social sciences, it examines the economic, social, political, technological, and other transformations that have created an increasing awareness of the interconnectedness of peoples and places around the globe. To this end, the course provides an overview of the various debates in global governance, development, and sustainability. Beyond exposing the student to the world inside and outside the Philippines, it seeks to inculcate a sense of global citizenship and global ethical responsibility

In this competency-based course involves a careful examination of OHSP (Occupational Health & Safety Procedures) as a tool of technical communication and for emergency awareness. It emphases on safety development for students to be aware of incident happen in the work place. It is an exploratory course in Technical Drafting course designed primarily for students planning to enroll in the regular-program Drafting Technology courses upon completion of this course. However, it also meets the needs of many students with other interests, as a refresher course in drafting

The course presents Philippine history from multiple perspectives through the lens of selected primary sources coming from various disciplines and of different genres. Students are given opportunities to analyze the authors’ background and main argument, compare different points of view, identity biases and examine the evidences presented in the document. The discussions will tackle traditional topics in history and other inter disciplinary themes that will deepen and broaden their understanding of Philippine p0olitical, economic, cultural, social, scientific and religious history. Priority is given to primary materials that could help students develop their analytical and communications skills. The end goal is to develop the historical and critical consciousness of the students so that they will become versatile, articulate, broad minded, morally upright and responsible citizens.
